The Beatles and the Internet
Yesterday saw the dawn of a new trend emerging on Twitter: #internetbeatles. The idea of the trend is that people suggest Beatles songs that can be associated with technology and Internet related pun-wizardry.
As a massive fan of the fab four, I thought it only reasonable to contribute to such an important discussion and trending topic. Some of the outstanding puns that emerged included the following:
- When I’m 64kbps
- She Came In Through The Bathroom Windows/She Came In Through The Pop-Up Window
- Blackberry Fields Forever
- Lucy In The Skype With Diamonds
- Polythene Spam
- I’ve Just Seen A Facebook
- YouTube Really Got A Hold On Me
- Twitter & Shout
